All month, I’ve been the one doing the suggesting. Today, I’m turning it around.
Because here’s what I know about this community: you are curious. You have your own lists. There are things you’ve been meaning to try, tutorials you’ve bookmarked, supplies you’ve bought and not yet opened, ideas that come to you in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep.
I want to know what’s on YOUR list.
HERE ARE MINE (THE UPDATED VERSION)
- Air dry clay. Already started. Update coming soon. It was messier and more wonderful than expected.
- Moss art in a shadow box. On the table for July. I’ve ordered the moss. I’m irrationally excited.
- A quilted wall hanging — something small, in neutral tones, using fabric scraps I’ve been collecting.
- Resin again — but differently. A larger piece with dried flowers preserved inside.
- A punch needle project. Yes, I’m going there.
NOW. YOUR TURN.
What’s on yours? Some questions to get you started:
- Is there a craft you saw recently that stopped your scroll?
- Is there something you used to make — years ago, before life got loud — that you’d love to return to?
- Is there a technique you’ve always assumed was “too hard” but keeps calling to you?
- Is there a supply sitting in a bag somewhere in your home, unopened, waiting?
Tell me. Tell us.
Drop your list in the comments — even if it’s just one thing.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Naming the thing you want to try is often the first step to actually trying it. Not planning. Not researching. Just saying out loud: I want to try this. Something shifts. The idea becomes real. The desire becomes a direction.
Consider this your permission to name it.
I’ll be back at the end of June with a subscriber-exclusive look at what I’m planning for July. If you’re not on the email list yet, the link is below.
Pull up a chair. Let’s make something.
